  • The Roman Bridge of Nyons is a magnificent medieval bridge spanning the Eygues river. Classified as a historical monument, it is 3 minutes on foot from the house.
  • The Vieux Nyons is full of arcades, cobblestones and alleyways. Don't miss the amazing Tour Randonne (1280) and the Vieux Forts district and also discover the childhood places of writer René Barjavel (1911-1985), author of La Charette Bleue, La Nuit des Temps, Ravages, and many other works. A circuit is available at the Tourist Office.
  • The Oil Mills, the Vinegar Works, and the Scourtinerie de Nyons: they offer tours! Discover the process of making olive oil from the Tanche, the AOP olive from here, vinegars and mustards, as well as the manufacture of traditional scourtins, these mats, hangings and coconut fiber products, made by the same Nyons family since 1882.
